As an Industrial Automation hardware engineer within the Koster Staphorst team, you are closely involved in projects from the design phase. You will be given the responsibility to independently design and draw electrical installations, based on the specifications of the client or project manager. You take full account of applicable standards and guidelines. This includes projects for various sectors, including the chemical industry, food industry, energy producers, water boards and governments.
What are you going to do?
- Designing and drawing electrical installations according to specified specifications, using EPLAN, Pro Panel and Typical Manager.
- Carrying out calculations regarding the designed installations.
- Drawing up specifications for the installations and the components to be used.
- Testing whether new designs meet specifications, regulations and inspection requirements.
- Checking designs and drawings from colleagues.
- Maintaining contacts with suppliers and ensuring that customer wishes are fully translated into the technical design of the installations.

What do we ask of you?
- MBO+/HBO diploma in electrical engineering and/or an MBO+/HBO working and thinking level;
- Experience and knowledge of utility and/or industrial installation technology;
- Familiarity with EPLAN or willingness to undergo training for this;
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, including NEN 1010;
- Excellent independent execution of assignments;
- Leadership skills;
- Preference for collaboration with colleagues and a team player;
- Possession of a VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain it;
- In possession of a driving license B or willingness to obtain one;
- Passion for electrical engineering.
